Playland ~Aug.7th

I was pleasantly surprised when "Nora" actually won 2 Playland tickets through her Chinese Adoptive Families group.  That would be very helpful for the "Stay-cation" plan. :)

Lewis had just been to Playland in June for his school graduation celebration, but was happy to go again with his friend Trey. I spent the afternoon with Nora, taking way too many photos to share with Scott later one. Next time, I would recommend going with a friend as we would have an even better time. (Then I wouldn't need to go on some of the rides with her... not exactly a comfortable fit!)

 This was one I could handle...

And so, Nora proceeded to "drive" every known vehicle...

 ... as opposed to the guys, who won't show theirs!

 Unless, you catch them after a thrilling ride.

These sweet moments make it worth standing in the hot sun. Lewis is such a nice brother...

 I came down this slide first... only once.

 If Playland is this fun, we can wait for Disneyland a bit longer!

And I'm pretty sure we did nothing on returning home, as days like that kind of do me in. But it was worth it... and my vacation was just days away. :)
