Father's Day ~ June 15th

After church, I went with the younger set to visit Grandpa to celebrate Father's Day. Meeting in the new ER lobby was a nice alternative to his crowded hospital room. As always, we were all happy to see each other... (For my gift, I wrote this prose on behalf of myself and siblings, 1/3 into the post.)

Nora was especially proud of her card..
She helps out with some interpreting of her message but it's clear...." L-OV-E"
"Grandpa, why is there water on your cheek from your eye?"
Life's sweetest blessings~
Thankful to be with Dad for another Father's day...
Back at home, James was "compliant" to make us a pancake dinner, since we hadn't made Scott a special breakfast.

"Breakfast" for dinner is a treat anytime.
Daddy's girl is always ready to share hugs.
And for when she's not around, her craft can do that for her...
Thomas and Lewis are beyond making crafts but show their affection just the same.
And the day would not complete without unnecessary
gifts like a BBQ steak press. Love you, Scott!
Hope your day celebrating your Dad was special, where you always make space in your hearts and lives for each other. :)
