After church, I went with the younger set to visit Grandpa to celebrate Father's Day. Meeting in the new ER lobby was a nice alternative to his crowded hospital room. As always, we were all happy to see each other... (For my gift, I wrote this
prose on behalf of myself and siblings, 1/3 into the post.)
| Nora was especially proud of her card.. |
| She helps out with some interpreting of her message but it's clear...." L-OV-E" |
| "Grandpa, why is there water on your cheek from your eye?" |
| Life's sweetest blessings~ |
| Thankful to be with Dad for another Father's day... |
Back at home, James was "compliant" to make us a pancake dinner, since we hadn't made Scott a special breakfast.
| "Breakfast" for dinner is a treat anytime. |
| Daddy's girl is always ready to share hugs. |
| And for when she's not around, her craft can do that for her... |
| Thomas and Lewis are beyond making crafts but show their affection just the same. |
And the day would not complete without unnecessary
gifts like a BBQ steak press. Love you, Scott! |
Hope your day celebrating your Dad was special, where you always make space in your hearts and lives for each other. :)
