With a day off, I made an attempt to DO SOMETHING, to at least help the kids feel that we did not stay home every day this summer. :) Friend Darlene, also known to Nora as "Auntie Darlene", was gracious to allow us to visit her for lunch in downtown Vancouver, which we took the skytrain to get to.
| So happy to see Darlene, Nora transforms into a little angel. ;) |
Nora is quite fond of taking photos with Darlene's camera. Before we knew it,
Nora was taking pics of eveyone we met in the office. |
| Darlene's son, Gavin, joined us too, as he was taking some summer classes nearby. |
| The view from up high... the rain eventually caught up to us. |
Darlene and I taught Sunday School to both our both
in preschool.... they've really changed! |
| Beautiful... |
After a delicious lunch at White Spot, hearing part of an outdoor lunch concert, we walked Gavin to his class near BC Place. Seeing the Terry Fox Memorial was a highlight. (Also checking out the discounted baked goods on sale at Vancouver Community College.)

| Thanks for a special afternoon. :) |
| One last photo, please! |
