Leisurely days of summer ~ Jul. 29-30th

I was probably working when this occured. Scott took Nora and Lewis to Tynehead park nearby for a walk and ride. Looks like a lovely time.

Rosie is doing better on her walks, after being
traumatized by a dog attack a couple of years ago.
Nora's moving up with his bike skills.
 Exploring....
Still needs a break on the inclines.

A huge highlight this week (on the 28th) was Dad coming home  from the hospital to recover. As many of you who follow his own blog know, it wasn't the end of anything in particular, just a time to heal from infection etc. Meanwhile, he would wait for more surgery ahead to reattempt healing the broken bones of his tibia/fibula. We stopped by to say hello....

 A new toy?
Dad looks so much more normal in his own clothes and home setting.
The other reason to stop by was to deliver to Dad his bouquet for Mom. (My new role as personal shopper...) The following day was their 50th wedding anniversary. We had realized quite some time ago that this special occasion would not be able to have the grand party we had hoped to throw, but that was okay. It was just very sweet that they would at least be home together for their day.
 Mom was very surprised...
 Two beautiful sweethearts.
That evening was Scott's annual "Work-out in the Park" at Bear Creek. While his taekwondo students did activies together, Lewis and Nora took to the playground and waterpark.

Nora's still a good fit for the "baby swing".
 After running in the water.
But you can't beat having a popsicle, asking for another one after...
Scott poses for group photos. Not sure where Thomas was, maybe on the camera?
