In case you're ever looking for some special songs for your child's graduation or some other context of growing up, here's my input for you... I used these for James' powerpoint. In context with the pictures, they are even more suitable. Links go to Youtube, and others can be heard on itunes. Enjoy!

Fun list, though in that Family category you can't forget Sister Sledge: We are Family. :) Check out the crazy video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNAQ8LLptUo&feature=fvst
Good old Carole King has one of my favourite songs from parent to child: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bDrB47giqs
And I love Cindy Morgan's "Thank you Lord" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1ODIFfo1KE&feature=related) in the thanks category
Ah - I love music. It'd be fun to hang out with you and Rob and brainstorm songs together, as I'm sure he'd have lots to throw in the list . . . though maybe not appropriate ones :).
Oh yes, I definitely considered "We are Family", but it's a lot of "I've got all my sisters with me..." which doesn't really work for us! This is my list of songs I used, I didn't even get to my back up list as I have to save some for the other guys! You can send along your ideas for Charles... we've got a year to collect those. :) And yes, the three of us would have fun finding songs together for any theme!
