I missed church on the weekend as I was working a day shift, but the family enjoyed a special service. Scott dressed Nora up pretty well for not having me around... although I confess that I laid out her clothes the night before. :)
After a short time together, our church headed down near the skytrain, to the land we are hoping to develop for a future new church site. They had a dedication service together, thankfully without rain. Nora listened very intently...
Monday, James impulsively asked if his girlfriend could come for dinner. Without a lot of food options present, he was given the choice of making dinner for us, as breakfast. Amazingly, he agreed so it turned out to be a win-win for both of us.
With both of them working at McDonalds, they surely must have enough experience hanging out over a grill. :)
Kelsey helps James to be a nicer person when he's at home... I can get away with asking him to do a lot more, so I hope he asks her over for dinner more often. (Most of you know that I hate making meals...)
