Lewis turns 11 ~ May 25th

Lewis had a beautiful May day for his birthday, and was very patient to wait for after school to open his cards and gifts. The older boys were absolutely thrilled as usual to be a part of such celebrating!

Nora actually was very excited...

She even had a card for Lewis that unbeknownst to me, she had "signed" the card on the front... right on the boy's face!

Nora was very enthusiastic about "helping" Lewis, and he was very good about letting her. Tin Tin books, clothing and other items from the recent movie were the theme of a few of the gifts. Lewis just reminds me of Tin Tin, he's so cute.

Not always a "fun" gift, but a helmet is necessary when you attempt scary things on skateboards...

Why not? Everything else is wrapped in tissue paper!

Sue & Lew
Not every kid would be thrilled to make electrical circuits but this one was...
We went out for a family dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory, with the added pleasure of having our friend Lori come too. She was over for a quick visit from the Island. She and I went out to visit friends later in the evening, too.

If there's food, there's a good chance the teenagers will come along...

We love you, Lewis!
And Nora loves ice cream... Was a great day for us all.
