August Birthdays ~ Aug. 15th -17th

Kellie was gracious to host a birthday gathering at her place to celebrate her recent birthday, and Charles' upcoming one. Pizza, chips, pop and ice cream cake... can't get much better! :) Unfortunately, I forgot to use the camera until the end.

No one is crabby here, just to clarify!

The way that timing worked out for our vacation, we wouldn't be home for Charles' birthday. Things were a bit hectic celebrating the night before we left, but hopefully he didn't mind. Dinner out and a movie with friends seemed to work well for him.

For mid-August, Charles actually did well to have some friends in town to celebrate with.
Some years we aren't so fortunate!

Amazing that Charles and his friends are all 17 now.
(Technically Charles turned 17 on the 19th...)
