After waking up after my fourth night-shift, I was feeling so happy to be done. Nora had a special drawing to give me for Mother's Day. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch with Scott's parents over, which unfortunately we didn't take pictures of. James surprised me the most by giving me a scented candle and a card, which he apparently forced all his brothers to sign with him. There is hope! :)
Nora was trying on her new Tournament t-shirt, just slightly over-sized... compliments of Master "Dad".
Just so you know, we aren't training Nora in the art of modeling, but rather trying to get a picture of the back of the t-shirt. She was cute nonetheless. And here's a note to my friend Darlene... the french braiding I did on Nora's hair for church before I went to bed did look much better before her nap! :) I'll keep practicing...
It's been awhile since we've had Maisie over for a few days. She fits into the family well, and Nora enjoys having two "puppies" around to play with.
