Celebrating "Mama's" Birthday

What a busy month... getting older is a lot of work, be it all "fun" work. I've enjoyed many visits with my girlfriends, and I feel very loved. Saturday was time to spend with my family, who spoiled me as well. (Thanks Scott!) Here is a little card that Nora made with Charles' help. :)

Nora has already figured out that tissue paper is meant for ripping out of giftbags. (It can be very entertaining.) Her gift to me was a pretty glass bead to add to my bracelet of charms. So thoughtful!

In the evening, we went for dinner at our local Greek restaurant. (Unfortunately James was working.) Very tasty. Nora's favourite was the pita bread. She had great fun blowing kisses to other patrons.

Nora gave me a lovely kiss. I turned my head at the last minute, as she always aims for your mouth... a little messy. :)

With Nora's huge grin here, you can see the mound on her right lower gum where her molar is working it's way out. This is likely why she's had a few nights of screaming in the night. It's been a bit rough with her, as she doesn't want to drink or eat much. With 12 baby teeth to emerge still, the outlook is not pretty!

Scott set up his tripod for our traditional birthday cake shot. (Still missing James sadly...)

Since he couldn't be there, James thought he'd have some fun with the photo later on... I was sort of hoping he would "photo-shop" his face in here?! It is a pretty hilarious photo, though!
