Glimpses of Growth ~ late February

Monday mornings, Nora and I try to get out of the house on time to meet Megumi and her daughter, H. The girls generally enjoy running around the large gym at the rec. centre. Sometimes they want the same thing, but there is no denying that their favourite time is "Snack". Nora especially likes it, as she mooches off her friend to eat all of her food. Megumi is so nice to share, bringing more than enough. :)

No matter what transpires between the girls, they both enjoy talking about each other for the days to come. (This basically means saying H's name and nodding or smiling in regards to day-to-day activities. It's very cute.)

One rainy morning, Nora happened to figure out the concept of ziploc bags. It entertained her for hours, as I would "zip" it for her, and then help her pull it open.

Wearing her "cake" hat from Auntie Ann was Nora's fashion statement of the day.

After seeing Anna's cute pigtails last week, Nora let me do them for her. She was quick to show off her new "do" to anyone around, always crediting "Anna". We need to buy bows that match, but one is okay for now.

Books continue to be a favourite diversion.
 Stretching...
 and smiling.
