Unbelievably, Nora and I heard from a second family in our China travel group that they would be in Richmond on the weekend. We again quickly arranged things to be able to meet up with Bev, Brent and Jenna at their hotel. Two visits in two days, so exciting! Nora must have been wondering why her friends were suddenly showing up, and why she hadn't seen them for so long...
The girls were a bit shy at first. Jenna is almost a year older than Nora, and very petite as well. She's a very busy, happy girl that is learning so much, including Mandarin and violin. She inspires me...

Outside we viewed the Chinese dragon... his brightness seemed even moreso with the sun shining.

We walked the boardwalk together, with Nora enjoying the freedom to explore.

Back in the hotel room, Jenna and Bev showed Nora how to hold the violin. It was so adorable, only 1/16 the regular size. Jenna can play two strings so far, and is very enthusiastic about learning.
The girls were precious, too. Let's just say it will be a few years until Nora is ready to try the violin. The dog would likely not tolerate her practicing. :) (But again, so cute!) Hopefully we will see each other in the summer, as Vancouver Island is not so far away. I look forward to seeing Jenna's musical progress by then, she's doing so well in every way. Thanks for contacting me, Bev! :)

Cuteness overload! I hope our Noah has enough musical ability to learn violin in the future :)
