After giving Julie a week to settle in after returning from China with Anna, Nora and I were very excited to meet Anna "up close and personal". (Nora had spent many days pointing at pictures of her on the computer as we followed Julie and Randy's blog... her name always comes out as "Nana"!) Julie brought back a panda from the Beijing zoo for Nora, and had picked up a little Cloisonne teaset for me on request. :) So of course, the panda had to have tea...
Our first glimpse of Anna, just waking up from her nap... couldn't help but laugh out loud with joy, and because of her adorable, sweet face.
What a happy time, seeing mother and daughter smiling together.
Nora and Anna check each other out... Nora's not too much taller. They are two weeks shy of being a year apart.
After a grin of approval, what else would you expect? An offering of "tea"...
Nora doesn't cooperate so well with group baby shots, but Anna was all smiles.
In suggesting Nora play "peek-a-boo" to bring a smile, she chose to cover Anna's eyes instead of her own!
At least Nora's laughing now... Anna's probably wondering "What's up with this girl?"
A long-awaited moment... holding Randy and Julie's precious daughter. She is absolutely beautiful.
We're already looking forward to times ahead where these two daughters of China will form a strong friendship. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon, Julie!
